how long does it take?

Survey and planning drawings

4 weeks

We visit your home, complete a full survey take photos for reference of openings and walls utilities and services. We use AutoCAD draw up ways that you can use your home the way you live.

planning application or permitted development

12 weeks

Things take time. If it goes to the planning department it is received by the local parish and neighbours and then to the case officer there are considerations of whether you are in ANOB, Greenbelt, conservation area. If it falls within permitted development, it goes to the legal department.

3 weeks

Once planning permission is granted it is at this stage a structural engineer would be appointed, and the detailed drawings completed for a tradesperson to price the project.
